It's a Magpul say no more, I'm wearing this on my 870 express dressed in the Magpul furniture; of course, I wouldn't change it for the world. Excellent! Solid and sturdy product.

Very well-made part. One thing I might add is before you buy, make sure you want the loop on the left side of the gun. You won't want to shoot the gun with it on the right side.

If you have the Magpul SGA Stock, the SGA sling mount attaches with removing the single stock screw, replacing the spacer with the sling mount, and screwing the stock back on.

If you are buying the 870 SGA buttstock and you plan to use HK style snap on your sling, you may as well get this SGA receiver sling mount. It is easy to install; it replaces the plastic spacer included with the stock. If, as I did, you invested the SGA stock before this piece was available, the retrofit is a snap. Matches up well with the Magpul Forward Sling Mount for 870.

Great fit, beautiful black finish, you just put the Magpul 870 sling mount on the side and the way you want (left or right of the receiver... facing the front or the back of the gun). Perfect for MS2 or MS3 sling (I have the MS3).

The SGA Receiver Sling Mount installed quickly on the Remington 870 when following instructions. But wish it included an Allen wrench. The Sling mount is Ambidextrous. Make sure it's seated correctly. Made from Mil-spec powder-coated aluminum, will accept many Sling connection points. Another great Magpul innovation. Excellent product and great at MSP.
