I love these Magpul mag001, I have them on all of my AR mags (50+). They help protect the GI mags from hard hits on the ground and give a little extra to grab hold of when handling them. I use different colors to ID different loads when in pouch.

Easy to put on and take off if needed. Tight enough fit so they will not come off of magazine when you are pulling them out.
