This low-profile QD swivel fits really well and works really well with my Magpul 2 point sling. It looks great, and I am very happy with this purchase.

I was looking for something small that didn't take up a lot of space on my lightweight carbine. This mount only takes two KeyMod holes and has a low profile. It's designed specifically for a Samson KeyMod handguard but will work with others. There are two raised edges on the backside that serve to locate the mount, so if you mount this on something other than a Samson handguard, there will a small air gap. I machined the edges off to get it to mount flat.

I've only been to the range a couple of times with this unit so far. I had a concern that moving it several times in the attempt to get it in the right place would cause the threads to weaken and maybe strip out, but they have tightened up perfectly on each move and have not come loose yet. I planned on putting some loc-tite on it once I got it where I want it, but that may not be necessary. My Magpul MS4 Gen 2 single/double point sling works perfectly with the QD on this unit. At first, I thought it was too tall [7/8" off handguard with QD attached] and would be obtrusive, but it turns out that the heel of my thumb fits in front of it, and it gives me something to pull against for extra stability. I'm quite happy with it!
