Kensight Night Sights are used as original equipment for many of today's top manufacturers. The Kensight Tritium Front Night Sight for the M14 and M1A rifle, is a high quality, drop-in replacement for the factory original unit. The front sight incorporates a self-luminous Trijicon Green Tritium dot that glows brightly in low light conditions to help draw the shooter's eye to the front post and effectively extends one's shooting time from before dawn until after dusk. This front sight features the traditional protective steel ears on either side of the front post, and is easily installed by sliding it onto the gas tube's dovetail and tightening the included screw. Wire-EDM machined from 4140 Chrome Moly Steel and heat treated to a hardness of RC 38-40 for long-lasting durability.
