QD Micro Flush QD Sling MOUNT-N SLOT - 8 Position Rotation Limited Quick Detach Socket - Mounts via one 1/2 hole at hand protects / forends / buttstocks. QD MICRO could be mounted via one ½, diameter hole in the majority of polymer stocks, mittens, awnings, and buttstocks measuring up to 230, in depth, including all M.O.E. The QD Micro Flush QD Sling Mount was designed to fit exactly through any port Hole in the Troy Industries TRX Extreme and Alpha BattleRails with no alterations. Once inserted throughout hole in the handguard, forend, inventory or buttstock, the QD Micro Flush QD Sling mount is kept using a Spirolock on the outside assisted by a pair of setscrews from the inside to prevent the bracket. Our design places all the sling pressures in compression against the interior surface instead of in tension on the thread of fasteners. Weighing only 243 ounces, the ultra design CNC eliminates all pointless material and fasteners.

As implemented in the name of the company this is a great solution for a qd sling mount enabling you to customize your setup where some components might be lacking the option or isn't in the ideal location for your liking. And at a very reasonable price. I used this one (first but won't be the last) on a Magpul ACS stock as I didn't care for the qd socket that it came with, it was bulky stuck out too far and in a terrible location where the factory hole was for it. Stumbled across this one and had to give it a try. Simple install with going inside the storage compartment and was able to put it in down more twds the lower rear corner where I prefer it to be and love how much sleeker it is sitting flush and low profile. I haven't used it enough yet to really give a durability rating but I don't forsee any problems. It ended up being on backorder and took quite awhile before I received it but when I emailed asking the status of my order I was answered promptly and friendly letting me know and there wasn't any eta, gave me the option to just wait or cancel for a refund. I just chose to wait and glad I did. If you have a stock setup like this or similar I'd definitely recommend it.

Used this IWC qd flush cup on a Troy Alpha and Magpul MOE. Put the spiro-lock on the higher recess, and the mount is almost imperceptible on the Troy when not in use. Search online for install instructions for MOE or other plastic handguards. Suggest using a Forstner style bit to drill. The Magpul stuff is tough is cuts slowly - be patient. A very cool product. Why didn't someone think of this years ago?

It doesn't get better. The IWC flush qd sling mount is much cheaper and much lower profile than the Troy part (in fact hardly noticeable on the Alpha when QD not inserted). For MOE handguard - carbine. Use a Forestner bit to drill. If you don't want to overlap the rear slot, you can drill the hole in the 45-degree section (10 o'clock). Perfect location, out of the line of sight, but also completely out of the way of the support hand.

I can't say enough about how good this iwc QD sling mount is combined with the Magpul MOE forends. I will say that the plastic (on the MOE forend) is tough to drill through cleanly. The manufacturer had a lot of good information on how to get this done right on their site.

Simple Installation - all you need is a 1/2" Forstner bit, and you're good to go. Puts a sling swivel right where you want it. The flush qd sling mount is a great price too.

Solid and sturdy! Troy makes good rails, but you have to take off handrail to tightening up any accessories. This QD sling mount with some anti-rotation stops is best! MSP as always shipped the item fast and packaged well. Thanks, MSP! I will be back.
