Better than I expected

I have mixed feelings about the flip-up covers on this optic. While they don't hinder its normal use and do offer protection for the primary glass, I'm still undecided about them. It's reassuring to know they can be removed if necessary. The optic's clarity is impressive, as expected from Holosun. The height seems well-considered too. However, I found it odd that it came with multiple battery trays, and I'm not quite sure of the purpose behind that.
