I explored the mini can and the CCS stock. I was particularly impressed with the new CCS stock. What's unique about it is that it's a direct drop-in for any AR-15 platform. It significantly reduces the overall length of your collapsed stock, making it incredibly compact. The CCS is designed for swift deployment and locks securely when fully extended. There's a handy button on the side for collapsing, and at the back, it features a QD socket for sling attachments. I got to check out the complete drop-in kit, which includes both external and internal parts. Notably, the bolt carrier is integrated into the buffer, resulting in a shorter overall length. This bolt carrier is compatible with any AR-15 bullet, provided it's chambered in either 300 blackout or 5.56. The CCS's spring is custom-made, shorter, and crafted from a unique material designed specifically for this system. For perspective, I compared the CCS buffer tube with the standard AR-15 buffer tube, and the difference in length was evident.

I like unique well, built accessories for my custom builds, it gives them character. I will be using more of this product. It is sleek and pleasing to look at. Large enough to provide proper stability and small enough to use with bulky clothing or body armor.

A little tight to start with but extending and retracting a few times and it eased up. The only real negative would be the sharp seam where the two halves join, I lightly buffed the joint with some 220 grit paper, also the jagged joint across the top is ugly, I covered this with a sticky neoprene cheek pad, I am extremely happy how it now looks.

I gave my wife four options to pick from on an ar15 build. This is my first experience with HERA. Overall I am happy with the stock. It does have a little wobble while on a mil-spec buffer tube. But nothing I am concerned with. Looks great on the rifle and shoulders well.

Nice AR stock. It would maybe go to 5 stars but mine had a few blemishes, nothing major though. No storage. Easy to install and remove. Buttons on both sides must be pressed simultaneously to slide it, but it is easy to do. Secure fit, I'm using it on an Aero enhance carbine buffer tube with no issues. It has sling mounts on both sides but I haven't tried them yet.
