Upon receiving this heavy duty push button qd sling swivel in the mail, I couldn't help but question my decision to purchase it. Although I could attribute my impulsive buying behavior to my bipolar disorder and the need for medication, I'll choose to deny it and simply stash this sling attachment in my gun bag for future use. I do want to extend my gratitude to Blackhawk! for the product, as it has won some appreciation from my wife, who often scolds me for my internet shopping habits.

I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional performance of this swivel. Despite its compact size, its weight and feel are indicative of its high-quality construction. The push button is notably sturdy, providing enough resistance to prevent unintentional retraction of the ball bearings. If you are seeking a reliable push button sling swivel, I highly recommend this option. After all, the last thing you want is a flimsy swivel that could cause your rifle to come loose during a full sprint.

I have given this swivel a rating of 4 stars primarily due to its sturdy construction. While it is functional, a few minor issues have caused me to deduct one star. Specifically, the angle of the ring where it retracts into the push button is misaligned, resulting in limited side-to-side rotation. Additionally, the button mechanism feels rough and grinds when pushed, and the swivel is somewhat unstable when mounted on the gun. Nevertheless, given its affordable price and overall functionality, I would still recommend purchasing this swivel.

There's not too much to say here. This looks good; feels strong. It comes in matte black and stays put in the mounting hole nicely. If you need this kind of swivel, get this Blackhawk HD swivel, you'll like it.

This is sturdy. The button does NOT come out from accidental pushes. You need to deliberately push the button to get it to unlock. It's perfect for a quick-detach sling. I would seriously rock this on both ends of my sling if my rifle had the holes for two of them.

If your gun has an appropriate place for this item, I highly recommend buying it. This really is a heavy-duty sling swivel! It keeps your sling out of your way when shooting, if it is on the side, and it has never accidentally been released. Another good accessory from BLACKHAWK!

Works perfectly on a Ruger AR 556 with factory QD Sling Socket. Matte finish matches the finish of the rifle. Very well made and sturdy.
