This is probably the best bipod

The Harris s-25c is probably the best bipod on the market. It's quick and light. However, the springs can be noisy and could be improved if rubber-coated. The legs are two-stage and quickly deploy but can only be fine-tuned on the top half of the legs and not the bottom half (the leg extensions are two-stage). Much better than the Caldwell bipods though more expensive.

The harris S-25c bipod has helped me hunt antelope in Wyoming, deer in Montana, elk in Idaho, and sage rats in Oregon. It is lightweight and easy to use. It adds confidence to those long shots on the big game and those not so long shots on varmints. The "swivel" is better described as a tilt. The rifle does not swivel or rotate around the bipod. The rifle can tilt left or right to level the crosshairs to help maintain accuracy downrange. Buy it! You will be glad you did

This is my third Harris bipod. This one fits the bill for me as it's tall enough to shoot prone when collapsed and tall sufficient to kill sitting when extended. Also, not so heavy as to effect off-hand shots. The only drawback is training myself to keep my fingers out of the way when collapsing the spring-loaded pods. Had more than one blood blister from it.

I would rather have the spring push the legs out and then adjust down. I find that easier. But that's just me.Other than that Harris makes an outstanding bipod.

Great product and is rock solid when in use. Only thing I don't like is that the springs are very powerful and will shoot the legs in with some force and in doing so make a loud noise. Now this is no problem if you hold the leg when depressing the button to realease it. Overall, great product
