Works great, good feel
In short, this mag extension works as advertised. I have tested multiple +1 and +2 extensions, and this one is my favorite so far, even when compared to others such as TTI. While the back may have a square shape, I find that it feels the best in my hand compared to the others.
Grat Glock 43 magazine extension plus 2
This glock 43 extended magazine with springs offers excellent value for money. Installing it was a breeze, and it has an OEM-like appearance. However, the base tapers more towards the rear than I would prefer, but I can adapt to it.
Glock ghost 43
Extra 2 rounds and grip extension is a big plus but the grip extension on the end of the clip could have blended in better with the lines of Glock Grip.
Ordered More
I bought two of the Ghost Glock 43 extended mag and installed them in about 20 minutes. I suggest using a wide-mouthed vise grips (or something similar) to squeeze the magazine enough to be able to slide the bottom plate past the internal tabs easily. Painter or electrical tape will help minimize scratches on the magazines where you apply pressure. I have put several hundred rounds through these "now 8-round" magazines without any issues and now have ordered two more. Two thumbs up.
Has advantage over some similar products.
If you ever wish to return the Glock magazine to the original configuration, this mag extension allows easy removal without damaging the supplied stronger spring. That's because it requires using the original Glock magazine base plate components. This allows spring removal through the mag base before sliding the extension off. Without this configuration, it's hard not to damage a spring trapped as the extension is removed.
OK plus 2 glock 43 mag extension
The included extra power spring, simplicity of installation, and re-use of OEM parts favor this extension. Unlike those from GlockStore, the mag body is not required to be modified; it is secure and feeds reliably. I would give it a five if it came in a Plus 1 model.
Tjos glock 43 magazine extension plus 2 Works Perfectly
For the G43, I have used this Ghost +2 extension, as well as the MagGuts +1, Vickers +2, and Taran Tactical +3 extensions, putting hundreds of rounds through each. All four manufacturers have done a good job designing their springs; I spent a lot of time making sure that the first and last rounds were fed reliably from the magazines, and they all worked flawlessly (and all four extensions were easy to install, with no filing or other modifications required). Of the two +2 extensions, I prefer the Ghost because: - It is a little shorter - It looks like an OEM product (because it uses the original base plate) - Like the MagGuts +1, it is easier to disassemble for maintenance by removing the base plate, rather than fighting with the spring when removing the Vickers or Taran extensions. The G43 Ghost extension is slightly improved compared to the +2 extensions I have for the G42; the molding on the G42 extension had some sharp edges on the backside that I had to file down; the G43 extension is nice and smooth. I do wish that Ghost would develop a +3 extension. For the G42, I converted and tested a few magazines using a combination of the Ghost +2 and MagGuts +1 to make a +3 configuration. This does require some smithing on both the mag and MagGuts follower to make it reliable (the combination is NOT a simple drop-in if you want reliability). I tried the same thing on the G43, and while nine rounds fit, there isn't enough extra space to compress the 9mm rounds, and inserting a fully loaded mag resulted in a small dimple in the casing of the top round (that's not acceptable, and I never attempted to test this configuration at the range). If you really want a +3 magazine for the G43, just go with the Taran Tactical extension (unless Ghost decides to come out with one...are you listening, Ghost?). The most common objection that I hear about extensions for the G43 is, "Doesn't that defeat the purpose of owning a small gun?". The answer is simple...spare magazines. I carry the MagGuts in my gun (for a 7+1 load within the standard OEM form factor), with two spares using +3 extensions (9 rounds each). Since the Ghost +2 extensions are considerably cheaper than the machined +3 extensions from Taran Tactical, I would highly recommend the Ghost extensions if you are satisfied with eight rounds for your spares or for your primary mag if you can adequately conceal it on your body (I cannot)...or if you have large hands and simply want a little extra grip length and two more rounds at the same time.
ghost glock 43 magazine extension
There are other +2 clip extensions for the Glock 43, but this one works extremely well and is very price competitive. Hint ... When taking off the bottom from the clip itself, slide two small metal wedges in along the side, then depress the center button before attempting to the side of the original Glock base. This will help it slide off the small tabs that hold the bottom onto the clip. Without inserting the small metal wedges, you'll be fighting to get the bottom off. The new one goes on very easily.
Works great, good feel
Quite simply, it works. I have bought and tried several +1 and +2 mag extensions. The Ghost glock 43 magazine extension is my favorite +2 so far (I have 3 different ones, including TTI). Despite the back being squared off, I like the feel of this on in the hand compared to the rest.
Glock 43 +2 magazine extension
I arrived quickly and was a quality product. Snap-on easy eight rds. Perfect.
Glock 43 pinky extension
It was straightforward to install, took me a couple of minutes. The fact that it comes with spring is impressive. I have big hands, and it gives me a better grip on my Glock 43.
Glock 43 plus 2 magazine extension
Everything functions perfectly, easy to install, +2 capacity and gives a perfect grip for large hands! Have bought several!
