This magwell effectively guides the magazine into the gun as intended. Its composite material is comparable to that of the pistol lower, providing a sturdy and reliable performance. If you prefer a simple and straightforward magwell that isn't flashy like those made of metal or polymer, then this is a great option.

Another great product from Magpul. Installation is simple, actually a no brainer. I installed one on my G17 to help my wife with quick magazine change/ reloading while remaining focused on target. Yes it works and its not as bulky as the other branded magwells. Simple, effective and the price tag wont hurt your wallet.

This product performs exceptionally well, as you would expect from Magpul. Installation was effortless, and the magwell is barely noticeable once installed. It even fits in my pistol's custom-made case without any issues. Overall, this design has a lot of impressive features.

I found this magwell to be an excellent fit for my Glock, and it was effortless to install. Everything lined up perfectly, and the best part is that it worked seamlessly with my plus 6 basepads. I use my Glock for USPSA competition, so the extra rounds come in handy. The product is fantastic - it doesn't add much length to the gun, it's budget-friendly, and it was easy to install. I even considered using locktite on the screw, but the included directions answered that question for me. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.

While I'm a big fan of Magpul and fully support the company, I do feel that their magwell product is overpriced at $24-$29, depending on the retailer. It seems like a small, molded piece of plastic that probably costs around $3 to produce. I understand that there are development costs to consider, but I still think the price is too high. That being said, the magwell is straightforward to install, fits perfectly, and performs well, so I do recommend it. However, I would appreciate it if Magpul could lower the price to a more reasonable range,

I found that this magwell is a perfect fit for my Glock Gen 3 17 frame. However, if I were to use it in a competition, I would suggest using Magpul magazines exclusively. They load and drop without any issues. The same can't be said for Glock OEM or ETS magazines, as they require excessive force to lock them in place, and they tend to drop out easily when released. While the finish is slightly rough and the injection mold lines are visible, I think it's a great product for the price, and it looks great on the gun.

This glock 17 gen 3 magwell magpul did require some fitting but there was material on this that made fitting it possible. Didn't need to ADD anything but shave it off a bit to fit. This did exactly what I needed it to once fit into magwell

The magpul magwell glock 17 gen 3 fit is nice and tight. Actually have to press up into the magazine well to get the set screw in alignment with the lanyard hole in the grip. The magazine well makes contact at the front first giving it a tight spring like fit. Only complaint I have is the magazine well will not work with all magazine base plates. For instance will not allow the use of Gen 5 magazine as it hit at the front. Also does not work with the Vickers floor plates. Works perfectly with the GL9 magpul mags and the Glock Gen 4 and older mags. This is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise perfect in every way and looks like it was made on the gun when installed.

So I have two of these glock magpul magwell, one on a G19 and one on a G17 polymer 80 build. It WILL fit on the polymer80 although not that well (requires fitting). I put on regular G17 as well. Has problems with magazines seating because of the fit. The part that really disappoints me is the flat part on the piece. You can see it in Brownell's pictures, it is on the front of it. It looks like they flatten it off from it molding. The edge from molding it looks lazy too. This is the only magpie piece I can say I've not been 100% pleased with. They can do better than this.

That magpul mag well works like a charm! Got it and installed it in minutes. Tried a couple of tac reloads and it helps so much!

It's a great glock 17 magwell! I installed them on all of my Gen-3's. They take about 30 seconds to install. They do make it easier and faster to do slide-lock (emergency) reloads. My only issue was that, some of my Gen-3's were a bit older and had a cutout on the front strap of the frame. I didn't care for the gap, so I contacted Glock USA and inquired into getting new frames, without the cutout. I followed their instructions, and in less than 10 days I had new replacement frames, without the cutout. I have to say, I was very impressed with Glock's service! All is good now!

I bought one of these for my Gen 4 Glock 17, and it works great! The magwell practically slurps the magazines up into the gun. It was easy to install and a great addition to any Glock you own for the money. I highly recommend it if you are interested in a small but very usable upgrade to your Glock. I will be putting them on every Glock I have!
