This simple to install part made a positive difference for me. It's just a little more "meat on the bone" kind of addition that feels easier to locate and operate. I'm delighted with these additions. I purchased 2 for the G19 and G27. I would recommend to anyone.

The stock slide lock/release on my G26 was unusable due to the amount of force needed and the discomfort it caused. This drop-in replacement makes a huge difference when driving a Glock. I can thumb the release just like on my 1911s after installing this part. No polishing or fitting was required. If you're not familiar with the installation, this is the easiest part to replace on a Glock. Remove the slide like you would for cleaning. The secret is to 'jiggle' the oem slide stop when you push out the trigger pin. Moving it around helps the pin come out easier. No further takedown is required. Put the new part in and replace the trigger pin. You'll be happy you did.
