Perfect fit!
I had a quad rail on my AR 15 that felt more like a cheese grater than it did a forward grip. This solved my problem!
Way better than hard plastic covers
I much prefer these covers to the hard plastic covers like the Magpul 2-piece. This cover is "just enough," whereas the hard plastic covers tend to go a little overboard. They make gripping your rail without gloves MUCH more comfortable, and I like that they're low profile. Mine is black on black, so at a quick glance, you can't even tell they're there.
od green ladder rail covers
I bought these to try as an alternative to the Magpul Ladder rail covers. I ordered them in black. In size, durability, and appearance I would say the MagPul and Ergo rail covers are basically identical. The 3-Pack that Ergo sells would be my choice because it is a fair amount cheaper than buying the 3 individual MagPul rail covers. I just ordered another 3 Pack of the Ergo rail covers in OD Green.
Save as magpul ladder rail covers
These are the same rail covers as "Magpul." Falcon Industries is the parent company of Ergogrip. Look on the bottom of the Magpul rail covers for proof; it will say Ergogrip. For those who have difficulty installing or removing, use a hairdryer to gently heat them until pliable. These are the best rail covers for your money.
Picatinny rail ladder covers
The ladder-style covers fit over my carbine length top rail perfectly. I had to trim off a few excess slots. I would not recommend using these for the L/R/B rails because your fingers can still contact the aluminum surfaces causing burns after rapid-fire.
picatinny ladder rail covers
Ergo’s ladder covers are made out of santoprene, which is essential: take it from someone who already threw away time and money on several attempts to find Amazon knockoff versions of these. This product is identical (if you consider the color options, it’s SUPERIOR) to Magpul’s and offered at 1/3rd of the cost. They’re rigid enough to stay put, and soft enough to keep my rifle from feeling like a cheese grater and gradually chewing up gloves and stuff. If I had one gripe, it would be the current inability to order these at specified lengths instead of ordering a surplus and using a razor blade to cut-and-splice on the rail. Then again, no other company does that either… but it would be nice.
Classic Ergo rail ladders
These are the classic AR/M4 accessory and a must-have to protect your Picatinny rails' unused space. They are low-profile and easy to cut down to any size. The surface is a hard rubber but not grippy like soft rubber and not uncomfortable like a hard polymer. You can hold onto them in an emergency, but as others have said, I would buy the full rail covers for grip/hold space on your foregrip. These are used most frequently on your T-rails (upper rail).
ergo ladder rail covers
THESE ARE THE GREATEST WPN MODS SINCE SLICE BREAD BUT… I RECOMMEND IF U R GOING TO DO A LOT OF SHOOTING, GET THE RAIL COVERS THAT HAVE THE FLAT/TEXTURED SURFACE FOR EVEN MORE HEAT PROTECTION. YOUR RAIL SYSTEM WILL STILL SOAK UP A LOT OF THE HEAT, AND THESE RAIL COVERS DON’T PROVIDE ENOUGH PROTECTION FOR SUSTAINED, COMBAT SCENARIO, COMBAT SHOOTING/FIRE FIGHTS. THESE ARE GREAT FOR WHAT THEY CAN DO, BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON UR INTENDED USE & AMOUNT OF SHOOTING.
