The Elcan SpecterDR 1x-4x Dual Role Optical Sight is a revolutionary combat optical sight, known for being the world's first to offer a truly dual field of view. This feature allows the user to instantly switch between a 4x magnified sight and a 1x Close Quarter Battle (CQB) sight with just the flip of a lever. This functionality sets it apart from traditional zoom sights by offering an optimized optical path and consistent eye relief in both magnification modes.

- Illumination: It features a battery-powered LED for crosshair illumination with five settings compatible with AN/PVS-22.

elcan specterdr 7.62 The Elcan Specterdr 7.62 scope my not be “the best” clarity, “the best” magnification, “the best” for lightweight, but instead of doing one thing perfectly, it does many things very well. My first experience with Elcan Specterdr 7.62 was a night vision scope we used on our LMGs and SAWs. That was back when iron sights were still a primary combat optic. This company has been improving since then, and it shows. If you need a multi-roll optic that’s reliable and durable, this is it. Or the 1-6-9 version of the Spectre, the TR model.

All in all it is an awesome sight. IMO is better than an ACOG/RMR combo because you have to have different head positions for the ACOG/RMR combo. The one downside is that you do have to have a consistent cheek weld in order to see through it unlike a holo sight. Otherwise it is a well built unit that has very easy to use adjustments and the glass is amazing.
