This Savage base will work with any short action round back Savage rifle with an ejection port. It is also compatible with the Stevens short actions.
The round back on this mount will accommodate rounded receivers, and guns that have an accu-trigger. Savages without an accu-trigger will require our flat back mount (listed separately).
This mount comes standard with a bevel on both sides making it ambidextrous.
We recommend measuring the hole spacing in your receiver to confirm it matches with the dimensions we have published.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. Our one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
Evolution Gun Works machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.
Installation: We recommend 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).

20 MOA - if shooting 500-1000 yards

I put this scope mount on my Savage long-range hunter and then installed a Vortex 6X20 scope. Everything went together perfectly, and after breaking in the barrel, I was shooting 1_1/8th inch groups as 200 yards. Excellent mount.

I had a machinist and a gunsmith look at it; I thought it was defective because the screws wouldn't fit right to attach it to the gun. It was the gun! The machinist and the gunsmith both said it was a very well made piece. They were both surprised how well made it was, which meant a lot coming from those two. Ya, unfortunately, I can't say so much for the work of the gun manufacturer in drilling their holes!

Put this on top of a Savage 10 .308 heavy barrel. This rifle is meant to be a long-range bullseye rifle with a 16x FFP mil-dot reticle. I am getting excellent groups. A friend also purchased the 20moa one and put it on the same rifle build, and we both love these mounts. Not too pricey and rock solid. Couldn't be happier.

Mounted it on a Savage 12, fit great. Love it, for I can now swap my target scope from gun to gun. I have Night Force rail on my other rifle and can't see any difference between the EGW and the NF.

I have used EGW rails in the past, and they have always been top quality. This model is no different. I mounted this on a Savage 11 VT 308 WIN. The receiver profile was spot on, as were the bores for the mounting screws (which were also perfect in length). Excellent rail, I could not be more pleased.

I have bolted to a savage model 12 low profile rifle, perfect fit, easy to install. If I were going to change anything, I would paint those little bitty mounting screws orange because if you drop one on anything other than white floor tile, it's gone.

I put this base on a savage target action, and it fit perfect. The base is a little taller than most two pice bases; when mounting 50mm objective scopes, you may not have to buy such tall rings when using this base.

Already have a couple of these bases, not being a Navy seal, or special forces, they do everything I need. I am really impressed with Mounting Soloutions Plus....I ordered the wrong base (long action) and called next morning to see if it could be changed. The man I spoke with was awesome, took a minute, told me he had the one I SHOULD have ordered in his hand, and would ship it that day !!!! AND DID !!!!!!!!
