This Mauser scope mount is made for Mausers with the stripper clip hump.
EGW Mauser 98 scope mount does not fit the 3000 L.
This base sits at approximately 0.4” high.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, weighing in at 2-3oz on average.
Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW’s one piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.

We machine these in our shop using one of our USA-made Fadal machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.

Most mounting systems give you two rings positioned over the bridges of the receiver and granted some offer an extension, but the flexibility on where the sight is going to be mounted is limited. This picatinny rail offers many more options and with all the sights and mounts developed for AR style rifles you can now put them on your Mauser, red dots included. The mounting holes are perfectly lined up with industry standard holes and finished so the supplied screws work perfectly. This is the perfect solution to putting almost anything on a Mauser rifle.

My 1944 model 98 mauser had been sporterized way before I got it and was already drilled for weaver scope mounts. It bolted right on in their place and clears the stripper clip hump too. It looks great and is a great addition to my old mauser. Couldn't be happier with it.
