Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, weighing in at 2-3oz on average.
Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW’s one piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.

We machine these in our shop using one of our USA-made Fadal machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability.
The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.
Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is available through our website and is sold separately).

This henry h009 picatinny rail is superior to the Weaver 63B mount. I purchased it for my Henry H009G and it appears to be a perfect match, as if it came directly from Henry. It is compatible with both Marlin and Henry 30/30's as well as the Henry 45/70. Although it costs more than the Weaver, its superior quality and perfect fit make it worth the investment.

The marlin 1895 trapper picatinny rail appears to be strong, but there is a slight curve along the top. The mounting holes are properly aligned and the included screws fit well. The included bit is suitable for a single use, as it became misshapen after tightening the screws, but it performed as needed. For the price, it is a decent product, but its durability under recoil remains to be seen.

Easy to install and fit perfectly. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's torque specs 20 ft/lb and use blue Loctite. I have not an issue with any of the EGW rails and are a quality product.

Appears to be very good quality scope mount in both fit and finish. Holes line up correctly, and there is an extra screw-in case you loose one. When I need for another one, I would repurchase this one.

Item is well made and sturdy scope mount. Holds devices securely. On my application, (Marlin 336), the standard rear rifle sight is just visible enough to be usable with this mounted and empty (of course). The screws seem sturdy and tightened fine.

Perfect eye relief for me on my Marlin 308MX with Vortex 4-16x44 Viper HST scope with matched medium rings and a leather Tourbon buttstock cover/cheek rest. I've put five boxes of ammo through the rifle in the last two weekends, and this base + scope combo is still holding zero @ 100 yards with 1 MOA 3-shot groups.

Well built scope mount, fits perfectly, solid materials. I don't cut corners when it comes to my firearms, and I'm very happy with the quality of this rail mount. I also love that I can still easily view the iron sites if I don't mount a scope.
