This Evolution Gun Works - EGW mounts is made specifically for the Kimber 84 Long Action.
These bases sit at approximately 0.35” high.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The cross slots are also machined the full width of the mount and gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs maintaining tolerances of +/-.002".
After
machining; the scope mounts are tumbled
and sand blasted. The aluminum mounts are Type III hard coat anodized for long lasting durability. The steel rails are Mil Spec parkerized for a durable rust resistant finish.Compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. Add EGW’s HD Scope Rings to make it a complete package!

20MOA EGW + Kimber Mountain Rifle

The 20MOA EGW scope mounting rail is extremely well machined and fit the contours of the Kimber Mountain Ascent rifle perfectly. However, each and every spent casing of .280 Ackley Improved cartridge hit the rail when extracting and fell back into the chamber. This rail essentially turned this bolt action rifle into a single shot and required every casing to be removed from the chamber by hand.
