The DPM Systems recoil reducer, originating from Greece, significantly enhances shooting performance. It was highly effective on my XDS9, and when I switched to the same model in .45, which originally had a much harsher recoil, the device reduced about 80% of the muzzle rise. This modification transformed the intense kickback into a more manageable and less painful experience, even surpassing previous experiences with other .45 caliber handguns like para ordnance and Detonics 3". According to DMP, the system also facilitates faster re-aiming and follow-up shots, enabling tighter groupings during rapid-fire at close range. Despite a slight delay in shipping, the investment in this recoil reducer is deemed highly valuable, especially for XDS platform users.

Have the XDM . 45ACP 3.8 Compact which it does say on the DPM Reduction Kit but when I disassembled the gun and went to install it, there's a big difference in both overall appearance and length in both. Without the spring, the stainless rod surpasses the barrel length by almost 3/4". Also trying to compress the spring was nearly impossible to fit in place. Needs to be returned and hopefully be replaced with the correct one or a refund.
