DPM Recoil Rod Reducer System for SIG Sauer SP 2022 & SP 2340
MECHANICAL RECOIL REDUCTION SYSTEM
The Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the gun. This system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (three springs) and controls the functionality of the gun. The third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame. Also accompanying this system is a bushing and two separate external springs so the shooter can fine-tune the weapon for his/her personal standards.

I'm not convinced that this reduced the recoil on my gun greatly, but it is an excellent quality product. One benefit it did have is it seemed to make it easier to rack the slide on my SIG SP2340 in .357 SIG even using the heavier spring.

I was lyre of any positivity results when I bought this replacement spring but I was having problems getting the spring back in after cleaning my SP2022. Not only does the thing go in better but my accuracy has improved significantly. I can't really tell you why accuracy improved but I am more than satisfied.
