Description
This specific DPM Mechanical Recoil System (Captured Version) it is based on the DPM Patented (U.S 7.380.487 B2 & US 7.493.845 B2) Multi-spring Recoil Reduction System and functions due to the multi spring intricate rod (3 springs). This system offers almost double force at the end of full open position of the slide. Compared to the factory OEM spring provides additional force that stops the violent rams on the frame.
- From the above effect the slide stops smoothly on the frame and offer’s less recoil.
- Further the moving parts of the pistol are protected, offering longer life to the pistol.

Did Not Work for Glock 41 Gen 4 (45 ACP, thin slide)

My Glock 41 exhibits failure to feed jams about 10% of the time, regardless of magazine used. Various experienced people have fired the pistol and I have been shooting for nearly 40-years, so does not seem to be caused by limp wristing. The advertisement from DPM for their recoil replacement spring clearly indicated it would "eliminate" jams, so I gave it a try, hoping for a fix to the problem or at least demonstrate a reduction in jamming. Unfortunately, the DPM recoil spring INCREASED my jams from 10% to upwards of 30%. All said, this was a complete waste of $100 with shipping, as Mounts Plus does not allow returns for opened and used items. Lesson learned.

I ordered a captured guide rod and springs for my g41 . I called on a Friday afternoon and asked if they could expedite shipping . I received my item on Monday .
