DPM Recoil Reduction System for GLOCK 40 GEN 4 10mm 6"
MECHANICAL RECOIL REDUCTION SYSTEM
The Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the gun. This system works due to the multi spring intricate rod (three springs) and controls the functionality of the gun. The third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame. Also accompanying this system is a bushing and two separate external springs so the shooter can fine-tune the weapon for his/her personal standards.

Dpm Recoil Reduction System is well worth the money for the Glock 40
After less than 200 rounds the stock Glock Recoil Spring failed. Miss feeding, jamming and failure to eject resulted, especially with factory target loads. Even a few Sig factory loads failed to feed properly. All were 180 grain ball ammo. One jam even damaged one of my magazines. I have not run any high power hunting loads through the firearm. After Installing the DPM system, all the cycling problems went away. The firearm is much friendlier to use now, especially with the Sig ammo, because the the recoil no longer stings my hand. Felt recoil is about the same as my stock .357 Sig Suarer SP2340. There is a little more "push" than with the .357 but is still very manageable. My favorite and most accurate carry gun is back in action with very noticeable improvements. :)
