Great quality. Easy installation.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and examined the contents. The fit and finish were excellent! Installation was very straightforward, instructions were easy to read and simple to follow. This won't be my last purchase from CODA, and fellow shooters were blown away when they saw it. Heat and cold transference is mitigated compared to aluminum and MLOK attachment were rock solid after shooting several magazines.

The example I received was very poorly machined. Very sharp, uneven cuts in the handgaurd and there was a ton of left over material hanging all over the inside of the handgaurd.

This Coda hand guard was purchased for building out a carbine length AR15 pistol for a 10-1/2 inch barrel. The design of the barrel nut and hand guard clamp made installation straight forward with good instructions. The hand guard profile has a small outside dimension and ideal for a positive index on the firearm without a bulky heavy feel. Ideal for an ultralight, easily manipulated pistol build.

I found this hand guard while working on my first AR build and I had my heart set on a carbon fiber hand guard. First off, it’s light, it’s easy to install, and the quality of construction seems great. The only negative I have is there is a good amount of flashing still present when I received it. Now this is the first carbon fiber hand guard I have ever bought so this may be normal, I don’t know. Either way, just a little work with some sandpaper removed most of the leftovers from the m-lol slots. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, excellent product for the cost.

This is an excellent product. If you follow the mounting instructions the installation is not difficult. I'm impressed with how solid and well centered this hand guard is.

Super light

It's a very good handguard a bit of pita to remove the nut and clamp, but he closet wooden dowel seems to do the trick.

This is one handsome hand guard and easy to install. Only difficulty was the 8 tiny screws that affix the hand guard to the trunnion; they can be finicky and hard to start into their threads. Other than that this hand guard is light, super strong, well made and looks great!

Install directions were very clear and it went together with a bit of effort as my carbon fiber tube was an extremely tight fit to barrel trunnion, more like a press fit. Barrel nut fit to trunnion was also very tight. Tight is good in my book, though I have my doubts if I will be able to get this apart in the future if the need arises. No flex at all that I can tell at this point, it's very light feeling in the hand but it has no give at all that I can tell. The carbon fiber is smooth yet grippy, very neutral feeling in the hand unlike aluminum which is either hot or cold, will buy another! I would put this at 4.5 stars if I could, the potential issue of disassembly is the only reason. And to add Mounts Plus was a pleasure to deal with and look forward to future purchases with them.

Overall I couldn't be happier! This thing is extremely lightweight but durable enough for me to have the confidence in tossing it in a dump barrel without hesitation! It's also worth mentioning that the heat dissipation is excellent! No more burning hand from the gas block after a 60 round course of fire!! Did I say this thing is beautiful! Fit and finish are on point! Bottom line if you're in the market for a handguard. Look no further!!!
