Customer Ratings & Reviews
Best I've Found
These earplugs are fantastic! I find them to be a significant improvement over foam earplugs. Although they can require a bit of finessing after a few uses to achieve a good seal, the extra effort is well worth it. I particularly use them for sleeping, as they effectively block out my partner's snoring and help me sleep better. I have found that snipping off the ends helps improve comfort, as they can dig into my ear when I lay on my side. Overall, I'm extremely happy with these earplugs and highly recommend them.
Soft enough to be very comfortable. Quality feel, quality results.
These earplugs are just the right level of softness, making them easy to slide into the ear canal without feeling mushy. They have a good level of firmness to them, which provides a comfortable fit and doesn't feel like you're pushing rubber into your ear. When properly seated, they form a tight seal that effectively reduces noise levels. Furthermore, the stem on each plug is of sufficient length to allow for easy removal with two fingers, while still being short enough to not interfere with wearing earmuffs over the top. They also seem like they could be easily stored in a sock or mesh bag without losing their shape.
Speak up.
These earplugs work great and are both comfortable and easy to fit in my ears. I find them simple to put in and take out, although they can be easy to misplace due to their small size. Nevertheless, I prefer them over earplugs with cords. In my experience, they are much better than foam earplugs and I've tried several types, including molded, rubber, and over-the-ear styles. Despite trying many options, I always come back to these earplugs. While they may not be as effective as custom-molded earplugs, they are much more convenient to use, especially if I need to frequently remove them. Overall, these earplugs get the job done, are easy to use, and I don't fret if I happen to misplace one.
5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and effective.
As a hobbyist and worker frequently exposed to loud mechanical noises, I have tried using thick over-the-top earmuffs, but I have found that these specific earplugs work just as effectively while also being dramatically more comfortable. In particular, I prefer this style because when wearing eye protection, the combination of eye and ear protection can often cause discomfort or pinching. This particular brand of earplugs is by far the best for my needs. I appreciate the reusable, tri-flange silicone design, which works much better than foam or other similar silicone designs. These earplugs strike a good balance between quality and cost, and if a friend tries them out and likes them, I'm happy to gift a pair without worrying about the cost. I highly recommend these earplugs and have purchased many over the years.
A little uncomfortable for me personally but they DO work!
I'm not entirely certain whether it's the ear plugs themselves or my ears that are causing the issue, but when I use them, I experience a significant amount of pressure in my ears. It's possible that I might be inserting them too deeply, or it could be due to the fact that I have relatively small ears with narrow ear canals. Despite the discomfort, however, the ear plugs do seem to be effective in blocking out noise. For instance, a few weeks ago when a dog was barking incessantly throughout the night, I managed to finally fall asleep with the ear plugs in and ended up sleeping through my alarm. In other words, the ear plugs are doing their job as intended, albeit maybe a bit too well!
Great Product, They are Effective and Comfortable
Out of all the ear plugs I've used, these are by far the best. I've tried foam, rubber, and gel-filled ear plugs that you roll in your palm until they're long and thin, but they never stayed in my ears or blocked enough noise. It was frustrating. I've also tried wax plugs in the past, but I didn't like them and can't remember why. I've had to sleep with ear plugs before, but I woke up feeling like I had ice picks in my ears because they hurt so much. However, THESE ear plugs create a tight seal that actually works. You can even control the level of noise you want to block by adjusting how far you push them in. Plus, they're comfortable to wear, much more so than any other ear plugs I've tried. The small stems on these ear plugs are also great because they're easy to remove, which is not always the case with other types.
Excellent silicone plugs
When it comes to dealing with different noises in various situations such as riding motorcycles, swinging a chainsaw or running an impact wrench, flying on airplanes, sleeping in motels, camping, or staying in unfamiliar places, I find earplugs to be a useful solution. In my experience, there are three main types of earplugs available: the round foam cylinders, the bell-shaped foam plugs, and the silicone 3-flange "Christmas trees." For most activities, I prefer the orange silicone earplugs because they work better for me. I use a quick and easy "lick 'em and stick 'em" technique that saves me time compared to the process of rolling up foam plugs, waiting for them to expand, and repeating the process if they don't seal properly. However, when it comes to sleeping, the silicone earplugs aren't ideal because they can be pushed deeper into the ear by the pillow, so I use foam roll-ups instead. One benefit of the gel/silicone earplugs is that they can be washed and reused, and my favorite brand is Champions, which I initially found in a gun store. Other manufacturers of both foam and silicone earplugs include U-line, 3M, and many others. To determine which type of earplug suits you best, you may want to search for earplug assortment packs online. If you find that Champions are your preferred brand, there is a reliable and affordable seller who offers them online.
Champion ear plugs gel
Easy to insert verses foam ear plugs and comfortable to wear for extended periods. They do a good job of attenuating loud noises I use them for shooting and when operating power equipment.
Cheap champion ear plugs that work... what else is there to say?
They're exactly what I was looking for.. something cheap that works when I'm using power tools, on the airplane, or trying to sleep while the wife is watching TV. I bought a few boxes and never worried about losing them since they're so cheap and also easy to clean (rinse under some water). The only downside is that they do get deformed easily when they're put under pressure. I think they spring back to life (but I'm not sure as I usually move on to another pair). That's something you can control, though... I put mine in a case most of the time. I can't see anything wrong with it. They're earplugs, and they work as I expected them to...
These silicone gel earplugs are a Perfect Fit and Gentle to the Ear
I find this type of earplug has a superior fit as compared to foam earplugs. Plus, this type tends to be far re-usable as well when compared to foam.
Best silicone gel ear plugs
Soft-touch towards wearing it in the ear and very comfortable, best find ever. The champion gel ear plugs work well and highly recommended, they also love the color gentle to the eye and easy to find.
