Quality scope rings
I purchased these rings specifically for my Remington Speedmaster .22 rifle, using a 2-7x32 scope that sits 2mm off the barrel for optimal accuracy and low profile alignment. These rings have outstanding build quality, boasting excellent tolerances and a firm grip on the receiver groove thanks to their broad blade. The scope is held in place with Torx screws, and the included tool ensures a secure and tight fit. After a basic mount up, I only had to adjust 4 inches high and 3 inches right, which was a small and manageable amount. The matte finish of these rings gives them a sleek and understated look, without being bulky or gaudy. Overall, I highly recommend these rings. Their quality is on par with what one would expect for centerfire calibers, and they are an excellent option for rimfire rifles as well. If you're looking for precision and accuracy, combined with excellent build quality, then these rings are an excellent choice.
For K31 fans who need good rings
So, I purchased the Swiss Products aluminum clamp-on dovetail mount for my 1943 K31, and initially went with the Millett Steel angle loc rings, based on some online recommendations. However, I found mounting them straight to be a pain as the screws and threads weren't very precise, and they ended up marking my scope. Luckily, it wasn't an expensive scope. But, I wanted a new solution that wouldn't damage the finish on my new FX3 Leupold scope. Enter these rings - the difference from the Millett rings is like night and day. They are straight, precise, and don't bind up. Their design is superior and they are incredibly strong, without leaving any marks on my scopes. These rings are a perfect fit for the K31 dovetail mount and I couldn't be more pleased with them.
Good Quality Ring mounts
These ring mounts are both rugged and aesthetically pleasing, and they are designed for use with 22 rimfire rifles with 11mm or 3/8 grooved receivers for scope mounting. I used this particular set on an Anschutz 17 HMR bolt-action rifle, and they provided a solid steel construction with a sleek finish that kept the scope parallel with the receiver. The only issue I experienced was the mildly curved contour between the bottom tabs that fit into the grooves. This curvature often led to contact with the top of the curved receiver, necessitating some metal removal. Without this, a solid and repeatable lockup is not achievable when the scope/rings are removed and replaced. Ideally, Burris could remove a bit more metal in that area, even if it exposes the screw that clamps the ring mount to the rifle. I've encountered this same issue with other Burris ring mounts on similar rimfire rifles such as the Winchester 63 and Kimber 82. For receivers with a larger diameter, such as the Anschutz 22 Hornet, these mounts fit perfectly without modifications as the mount's bottom clears the top of the receiver by a few thousandths. Overall, these ring mounts are an excellent choice, especially for rimfire rifles with the right dimensions, and their robust construction will provide a secure grip for your scope.
Fits perfect Field master 572
The Remington Fieldmaster 572 was a perfect fit, and I tightened the top turret screws to 30 inch lbs, followed by tightening the base to 50 inch lbs. However, 60 inch lbs appeared excessive.
Nice rings!
I have used these rings on various firearms: a Henry lever action, a CZ 452 bolt gun, and a Ruger 10/22. If you use your time and make sure the rings are set correctly on the receiver etc., and proceed to hold the ring while you tighten the side screw, they are level, period. I have not had a difficulty. I have used Burris rings on many firearms, and they have always performed well. They fit and finish very nice for the price. It would be difficult to find a better ring at this price point!
For Rifle or Handgun
This has become my standard set of rings when working with .22's. I've noticed that due to the excellent machining that it doesn't take as many clicks on the scope to make adjustments. They are a little heavy, perhaps overkill in some cases. But they won't fail when you need them the most. I do prefer steel over aluminum for this reason.
Burris Rimfire / Airgun Deluxe Steel .22 Rings
This is my 3rd set of Burris rings. Once again, these are perfect. They are being used on my Marlin 39A and work perfectly. Would recommend!
Burris Rings for .22
These rings are finished well and work as intended; they hold as designed for a .22 rifle. I have them on two different CZ 452's, and they are doing the job.
Great 22 Scope Rings
There are cheaper rings out there but even on my .22s I want the best quality product I can get for my money without spending an arm and a leg.
Burris Rimfire Riflescope 1: .22 rings matte black
I have used many other rings, but the strength and solid mount are very good and an excellent value for the money! I use them very frequently and will continue to do so!
