Buffer Technologies Browning Hi-Power Recoil Buffer
The Browning Hi-Power Recoil Buffer easily fits onto the recoil spring guide rod. Installation takes less than a minute and can be done without any special tools.
The Browning Hi-Power is an undeniable classic. Taking good care of its action is essential if you want to ensure that your piece of the Browning legacy endures. However, every time you fire off a round the slide slams backward making contact with another piece of steel. Gradually this can cause the action to become loose! Fortunately, a Recoil Buffer can cushion this trauma and lengthen the service life of your favorite pistol.
Those who install Recoil Buffers into their automatic firearms will not only be protecting their investments by prolonging their service life, but they will also find that the recoil is reduced and muzzle stability is increased. Recoil Buffers can do this for any gun! They work so well that many people believe they should be installed in all guns by their manufacturers. Unfortunately, this is not yet the case. So, until that time comes, make sure your weapon functions as well as it possibly can!

Didn’t work for me
I have the Springfield Armory SA35 so I guess there must be a difference, because I couldn’t get it to work on my pistol. It was too large. Unless I wasn’t installing it correctly, but I followed the instructions.
I installed one of these on my Browning Hi-Power
I installed one of these on my Browning Hi-Power Practical, and I had no problems. It fits fine and functions as intended. I have had none of the problems mentioned previously. The directions are a little vague with no pictures, but for me it wasn't a problem figuring it out. I would recommend this to a friend.
The Jury is still out
I watched the instructions on the website first, then installed it. It seems to work, but only time will tell if it saves the slide. Shooting 40 S&W in a frame that was designed for 9mm makes me nervous, and I thought this would help the longevity. It makes it more difficult to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning but not too bad. I would like it better if it stayed at the end of the guide rod when I remove and install the slide instead of free-floating on the recoil spring.
Good with reservations
The product was easy to install, even though the instructions were somewhat vague. In the 9mm it makes disassembly almost impossible due to the thickness. I am hoping this will improve with more cycling at the range. Works great in my 40 S&W Browning Practical. Just maybe too universal, otherwise buffers great.
