Great scope for the money
I have this BSA pistol scope on a Ruger charger. Most pistol scopes are designed for full arm extension, as is this one. However, I find I can be closer to this one than with other scopes making this easier to use with the bipod.
Use this BSA edge pistol scope on My Mosin Nagant,
Use this BSA edge pistol scope on My Mosin Nagant, I was having a fit because I couldn't get it dialed in, but it wasn,t the scope, it was the Mount, Nagants have a decent recoil so after fixing the Mount, the scope dialed right in, If you have old eyes, this 2x7 will make those nasty Nagants almost fun to shoot, a set of High or extra-high Mounts will also help
I have used BSA scopes for several years.
I have used BSA scopes for several years. They are tough, durable, and have more than acceptable clarity and power, and the parallax is practically nonexistent. They are used on T/C Contender pistols and do not seem to be affected by heavy recoil.
BSA pistol scope review
I put this BSA Edge pistol scope 2-7x28 on a Ruger Charger pistol and was very pleasantly surprised. Very clear and sharp. It has made this pistol from an accurate gun to a 50-yard tack driver. Holds zero throughout the power ranges. A great scope for the money.
Very clear & sharp for the price.
Very clear & sharp for the price. Also has a much better (finer) crosshair than expected. Held zero well through the magnification range too.BUT, the eye relief changes a lot depending on the power used. At 2x, it is like most handgun scopes with plenty of eye relief, but the eye relief "shrinks" quite a lot at higher powers. At max power, you have to get very close to see the whole field of view; almost like an LER riflescope. 5 stars for sharpness and crosshairs but 3 stars for eye relief. The Simmons 2-6x32 costs a bit more but is a lot more scope; same (long)eye relief at all powers
