Serves its purpose
There are many similar products on the market but this one meets my need for firearm protection and lubrication. I only wish it was offered in bulk quantities.
This is a good all-in-one all
Of all the "CLP" type oils that I've tried Birchwood Casey's Synthetic oil is probably the most balanced. Most CLP type oils do one thing well and not so well at the others like BreakFree's CLP which is great against protecting from rust but tends to drain into or out of the action while in storage and doesn't clean very well. FP-10 does great for lubing, is OK for cleaning but isn't that good at protecting from rust. G-96 gun treatment, SLIP2000 gun lube, MPro7, and various others which claim to do all three things are really only good at one or two, in my experience. Birchwood's synthetic oil actually seems to do well at all three- lubricating, protecting and cleaning. It has a slight solvent smell which some may not like but it's fairly inexpensive on a per ounce basis, unlike other CLP type oils.
