Birchwood Casey Barricade Take-Alongs - Package of 100
Birchwood Casey Barricade Rust Protection rapidly drives out moisture from metal pores and deposits a transparent protective coating which seals the surface. It’s the best way to protect your firearms from rust. Withstands 500 hours in ASTM humidity test and 96 hours in ASTM salt spray test. Barricade Rust Protection is also an excellent penetrant for loosening rusty or frozen parts, as well as a good lubricant and an effective bore cleaner. It’s never been easier. Individual 5" x 8" cloths are impregnated with Barricade Rust Protection and sealed in a foil packet for compact carrying. Also handy to use as a bore cleaner / protector when run through gun bore. I have been using Birchwood casey barricade wipes since I was a little kid who is well over 30 years ago! It used to be called "Sheath." It has never failed me in all these years. It keeps the rust away and makes the metal look great. It does not leave a thick gummy residue like other products so there is nothing to freeze up in the winter. Can be used as a bore cleaner as well! I wipe my guns down with this before storage and I have never ever had rust! I like the new disposable wipes too as they come in handy to bring with you when traveling away from your home state for a hunt! It's just a great product that has served me well over many many hunting seasons. I highly recommend.

The birchwood barricade wipes are handy for cleaning and protecting lots of metals. I use my range of weapons. I think this stuff works better than any other metal protector. Also low to mid odor.

I started using birchwood Casey barricade wipes for the last step in cold bluing. The towel was like new after wiping down a freshly blued barrel. I started taking guns out of my safe and wiping them down to use up what was left on the towel. The product works very well, so I keep some in my range bag for quick clean-ups. Good stuff!

My last step in cleaning my guns is a gun scrubber to hose out the remaining residue. If you're familiar with a gun scrubber, you'll want a wipe and lube after. These are perfect for that. Enough to protect and light lube and mild enough that's it's not greasy. Leave your gun to sit for 30 minutes after the wipe down it takes time for this to set in and evaporate the excess.

I went on a recent hunting trip,in the past that meant bringing separate solvent and oil for cleaning. Now I just bring a little 1/2 oz. bottle of solvent and 8 to 10 packets of barricade gun wipes. They're great to wipe down the gun and cut to size as a patch for a final barrel lube after cleaning.Saves space and convenient!

These Birchwood Casey barricade wipes are the last step in every firearm cleaning because, unlike so many products nowadays, these actually work. Every now and then, I'll pull-out a rifle that I haven't used in years. I'm constantly amazed at their pristine condition, and I accredit it to these Barricade wipes. Birchwood Casey Barricades are the only anti-corrosion wipes I will ever use. You just can't beat perfection!
