I have used Barricade (Originally "Sheath"), for over sixty years. It has protected my firearms from rusting due to brackish water (saltwater marshes), blood, and sweaty fingerprints My firearms get serious use, and they are in beautiful condition!. I don't know why it isn't sold in every sporting goods or gun store.!

I have tried most everything to keep the rust away from my blued guns; Barricade spray is the best I have ever used. It will stop rust in its track, lubricates with a very slick finish. Try it you won't be disappointed, but you may fuss at your self for not trying it sooner.

This is my go-to rust protector for my side-lock custom muzzleloaders. After several years of use and only taking the old bessys off the wall occasionally, there's been no surface rust or pitting on even the browned parts. Birchwood Casey Barricade is good stuff.

I live just a short walk from the coast, and the salt air is just murder on firearms. Barricade spray is fantastic! It does a great job of protecting my guns. I use it on everything from blued muzzleloaders to handguns. Way better than oil. Just use it outside because the smell is pretty bad.

I have used Barricade rust protection for almost 50 years...I have never had anything rust even when I was caught in the rain and couldn't retreat the gun for a couple of days. It works on wood and leather as well - keeps it protected and looking great.

I live in a very humid environment and have used Birchwood Casey Barricade for years on rifles, pistols, tools and reloading dies with no rust. One thing I have noticed when used in bores is that it does not affect first shot placement as some oils do. On the last can I bough the name had been changed to barricade.
