I purchased the ATI X2 grips as soon as they were released (around a year after they were announced). I previously had removed the original Taurus boot grip from my small frame Taurus and replaced it with a Hogue grip, which allowed me to have more fingers on the gun for better control when firing .357 magnum loads, but I was still experiencing a significant amount of recoil. I upgraded to the ATI Small Frame grip two years ago. The new grip offers better clearance for my knuckles around the trigger guard and a more significant, more ergonomic grip swell that fits my hand better, resulting in a more natural pointing position that allows for better aiming and shot placement. Most importantly, the recoil management is significantly improved with this grip.

The ATI X2 grip transforms a snappy Taurus 85 Ultralite into a much more manageable firearm. Many shooters have complained about the heavy double-action trigger pull on the Taurus. This grip makes it much easier to stage the trigger, allowing for accurate shots beyond 7-8 yards. The improved design positions your hand further back and at a slight angle, providing a better grip. The single-action trigger on the Taurus 85 is already good, but the double-action has been a problem for many shooters. However, this grip eliminates that problem. I am incredibly pleased with my purchase, and it has made my Taurus 85 Ultralite a much more enjoyable gun to shoot at the range.

I purchased the ATI X2 grip to replace the factory 605 grips on my small frame Taurus. While the factory part was adequate, replacing it with this grip significantly improved comfort, which in turn led to an improvement in accuracy. The only issue I've encountered is that I lost one of the inserts while removing the grip to perform a spring upgrade. I'm wondering if ATI could provide me with a replacement set for the lost insert. Overall, this is a great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone who owns a small frame Taurus.

The ATI X2 grips are the best grips on the market. This is the third time I have changed my grips, and the previous two options did not meet my needs. The original small wood grips were excellent for concealment but unsuitable for shooting. Then I purchased Hogue grips, which provided a good grip but without a backstrap, shooting .357 magnum loads was too painful for my hand. Finally, I discovered the ATI grips and am very happy with them. They offer an ergonomic design that works well for me. The backstrap is designed to reduce felt recoil and has a ribbed texture, giving me a better grip while firing. Additionally, the front of the grip has almost a grip-tape feel, which accommodates my pinky, ring, and middle finger, unlike the factory Taurus boot, which left my pinky unsupported. Overall, the ergonomics of these grips are excellent and I feel that it makes a big difference in my shooting experience, especially as I have long fingers, and it had always been a bit of challenge for me to control the trigger pull with small frame guns"

The X2 grip provides a very comfortable hold, making the small frame Taurus 85 more manageable to handle. I experienced a minor issue with missing a part, but it was promptly shipped to me free of charge. I did have to use additional hard rubber pieces to eliminate any movement of the grip on the frame. I am delighted with the grip, despite it being a one-size-fits-all option. Overall happy with my purchase.

I received my ATI scorpion Taurus small frame X2 grips today and immediately installed them after retrieving them from my P.O. box. They provided an even better grip than the Hogue grips I had installed a month prior. The Hogue grips had offered a place for my pinky finger but did not effectively address the painful recoil when firing 357 Magnums. The X2 grips offer a wider grip with a backstrap similar to 1911, providing support and a larger area in the web of the hand between the thumb and index finger. The grip has a tacky feel that instills confidence. The installation process was easy, and I am delighted with my purchase.

The X2 grip significantly reduced felt recoil compared to the OEM grip, and its size and shape fit my hand well. The price was reasonable, and delivery was fast. The only issue I encountered was difficulty fitting the 6 inserts, but overall I am satisfied with my purchase. Thank you, ATI!

The X2 Small Frame Grip by ATI Outdoors is a solid and well-constructed aftermarket grip that I find very comfortable. It may have a gap on the back strap under the hammer, but it does not impact my usage of it. It would have been convenient if ATI included a pin with the grip, but overall it is still a good purchase. I have bought two of these grips, one for my Taurus 85 and one for my Taurus 605, and I am satisfied with my purchase.
