The stock of this rifle is very sturdy, adding length to the pull, which makes it comfortable for larger individuals like myself. The recoil pad is also very comfortable and of higher quality than the factory pad from Remington. My only issue was that the adapter did not fit perfectly into the back of the receiver and required some slight modification for proper installation. However, once this was done, it fit perfectly. When paired with 10-round magazines, this 30-06 rifle becomes a powerful tactical weapon.

I really liked the stock. Relatively easy to install on my Mossberg 500. I lost part of my trigger finger, and now I can reach the trigger with ease. The downside is you do have to remove the stock to the service trigger group, and the recoil pad is absolutely useless. It would make a great doorstop. I installed a Limbsaver recoil pad. What a difference that made. I cut down one of the pad spacers to fit inside the stock and super glued it in. This gave me a place to mount the bottom screw on the Limbsaver because it didn't match ATI's hole spacing. Before mounting, I used a 7/8" hole saw on the spacer to give me access to the stock bolt. Ground the pad to fit, and the job looked great. First recoil pad I ever installed. I want to mount one on my 835 Turkey gun now!

After installation(Mossberg 500), it looks and feels great. It makes for comfortable shooting shotgun. Now the negatives..... The enclosed instructions are unclear about which spacer needs to be used or how the spacer is mounted. I had to get the required mounting bolt from a local hardware store. If the instructions had been more informative, I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4

The whole exchange took me maybe 10 minutes, with 5 minutes of it gathering the right tools. I a big and lanky guy, and I'd like the stock to have been about an inch longer. With the grip, I can move the gun into sight in less time with a solid feel.

I looked everywhere for a stock for my New England Pardner pump and couldn't find any, so I tried to fit my 870 stock onto it, and it fit pretty good so I bought this stock to put on my New England shotgun, and it looks fantastic there is probably a 1/16 of an inch difference in the gun and stock but nothing major. It makes your riot shotgun pop, for sure.

Considering the price, this stock isn't too bad. I currently have this installed on a Mossberg 500 with the 20" barrel. The feel is decent; the stock is relatively light, the pad doesn't help with recoil when using heavier loads/slugs. Issues:-Needed to acquire the correct length bolt since I had a pistol grip to begin with (easy trip to hardware store)-The buttstock must be removed before the trigger group can be taken out for cleaning.-The action lever can no longer be reached without removing the weapon from your shoulder. It's to be expected on a Mossberg due to its location (it won't be an issue for a Remington 870).-Butt pad screws get harder to re-install the more often they're removed. Screws tend to dig into the pad since there's no sleeves or beveled washers inside. Otherwise, it handles well, and you really can't beat the price.

I have this stock on my Mossberg turkey gun, and I love it. It gives me great control with one hand for calling. Easy to install and looks great.

I love this stock. It was easy to install, and the length of pull is exactly right for me on my Mossberg 500. With the original stock, I had a hard reach to get my finger on the trigger. This stock in nice and comfortable, and when I bring it up to my shoulder, I am looking right down the double bead.

I purchased a Mossberg 500. I desired a Pistol Grip Stock but got only one each, and there was no way to get my desired results. I spoke to my Firearms Dealer Freedom Ammo, and he recommended ATI. I placed my order, received the same, and made the installation. I have my desired all-in-one Pistol Grip Stock, and it fits like a glove.

Just a small gap near the trigger guard is the only area where the fit could have been tighter. Otherwise, good fit.
