excellent lee enfield synthetic stock
The Enfield replacement stock has a great aesthetic that took me about an hour to install. Removing the rear of the stock on my Enfield rifle was a bit tricky, but otherwise, the installation process was straightforward. I did need to make a small adjustment where the stock attaches to the rear of the trigger guard, but it was a quick fix. My only critique of the stock is that the checkered inserts were a little loose, but it can be easily fixed. Overall, it gives my classic rifle a modern look, feel and performance. Pairing it with the B-Square scope mount from SBDGlobal enhances the modern look and improves accuracy.
Good product, needed a little work to fit
The Enfield replacement stock did require some Dremel work to get it to fit well on my Savage-Enfield #4 Mark 1*, but the final outcome was worth the effort. The stock feels sturdy and has a sleek appearance that looks great and feels comfortable in hand. Its shape and balance are superior to the old sporterized wooden stock. I am delighted with the improvement and recommend this product to others looking for a durable and visually appealing upgrade for their Savage-Enfield #4 Mark 1* rifle.
Awesome, slight modification needed
The Enfield Monte Carlo stock upgrade was a great addition to my rifle. The Enfield rifle I bought had not been well taken care of, and since it was a newer model (1975 manufacture date), I decided to swap the stock and add a scope. After removing the old stock, I took the time to clean the outside of the barrel and all the parts around the action. It took me about five minutes to file a small area just to the right of the breach, and another five minutes to install the new stock. Although there is a small gap where the rear stock meets up with the metal, it is not visible and does not affect the rifle's performance, so I'll probably leave it as it is. The stock is securely fit and straight.
butt stock required minor inletting work to get a good fit.
Installing the new butt stock on my Lee Enfield Number 4 Mark 2 required some minor adjustments for a proper fit. I had to make a slight modification to the original wood butt stock by removing one of the two locking washers. However, the fore-end fit perfectly without any adjustments. The front swivel stud required a bit of drilling to accommodate the detachable swivel stud, but this was a quick and simple process. I initially did not like the look of the cheekpiece pad after installation, so I removed it before the glue set and cleaned off any residue with alcohol. The instructions included with the stock were easy to understand and follow. The entire installation process took less than 2 hours and gave my old rifle a modern look.
ATI Enfield Gun Stock - THANK YOU ATI!!
I recently used my .303 British rifle for hunting with the new ATI stock and ATI scope base. The rifle was significantly lighter than before and incredibly accurate. After using it for over 20 years, it had become quite heavy to carry all day, but the new stock made a huge difference. The installation was easy, and the recoil was much less than with the original army stock. I started by using an older 3-9X40 scope, but the rifle performed so well that I'm now in the market for a higher-quality 3-9X50 scope. I've tried other scope bases on this rifle in the past, but none of them held up throughout the hunting season. However, the ATI base proved to be sturdy and kept the scope in place throughout the entire season.
303 British stock
I own a couple of dozen deer rifles but have great respect for the 303 cartridges. All deer I have ever seen killed with a 303 have quarter size exit wounds. This stock took a pound and a half off the old military and added an inch and a half to the length of pull, which I needed. It also raised my cheek weld perfectly for scope use. Couldn't be happier!!
303 Enfield stock
I like the way the brown stock looks assembled over the black one. It makes the gun look more like the original appearance. Only wish this stock was available with the cheek rest on the right side of the buttstock for left-handed shooters. Contrary to popular belief, there are a whole bunch of US southpaws in the world but seem to get left out when companies make things that could be interchangeable. That's OK, after serving with the Marines as there Combat Doc, I learned numerous ways to adapt and overcome. "PAPPY" Anderson
ATI Enfield stock
I have the heavy barrel sniper model, so I knew I would have to modify the stock to fit. The 303 Enfield stock is more substantial than I was expecting but feels good.
