The ACSS Aurora reticle is our very first foray into meter-based ranging and fire solutions. The feature-rich and intuitive reticle design is uncluttered, designed to communicate vital information in an efficient manner to not only increase first-hit probability but drastically reduce the time necessary to reach a firing solution to get that hit. From 300m and in, the illuminated chevron aiming point provides wicked-quick snap shooting capability and both-eyes open engagement, so you never lose peripheral vision. The outer tips of the chevron pull double duty as leads for targets moving 3.1mph perpendicular to the shooter. For targets moving a bit faster, the two lead dots on either side of the chevron are leads for a target hustling along at 8.6mph. Aurora even compensates for mounted targets up to 40mph!
We knew our flagship Gen II 1-6x24 would be a tough act to follow, so we worked hard to make incremental but real improvements. The Gen III is 18mm shorter (10.04in long), weighs 1.88 ounces less (16.9 oz. total), and has an additional 10 MOA of internal adjustment compared to the older model.

Best bargain AR 15 scope for the money.
I love the AR 15 scope. It’s even better than I expected it to be. In my opinion, this is the closest thing you to an ACOG, without actually buying an ACOG. And with the lifetime warranty, there really is no argument for not buying this scope. Buy one now, and enjoy!
Almost perfect
This is a great AR15 Scope and an amazing value. I think the glass is plenty clear; the reticle is perfect, the build is solid, and the price is right. Great option if you’re looking for a SFP scope. Primary Arms, if you’re listening- please just illuminate the chevron portion of the reticle instead of the entire BDC. That would make this scope perfect.
Much better than expected
This is a great AR Scope if you’re looking for LPVO in 2nd focal plane and metric ranging. Nice and clear, the eye box and eye relief are very good throughout the mag range; Even at 6x it forgives enough to use comfortably. Two ways to make this optic totally outstanding: add an extended adjust lever, and please only illuminate the chevron instead of the entire bdc. Highly recommended LPVO at this mag range and price point.
Best reticle for multi calibers
The reticle is fantastic. For the paper in your wallet, it cant be beat. I wish they had this in 3-18 GLX (if they produced one) This is a meter based reticle. it is possible to use 308, 762x51 175 grn SMAK (2400 FPS) if you use a 20 MOA incline mount, this will match drop increments out to 800 yrds. Adjust ZERO 1.1" high (100yards) and hold points align out to 600 yards (not meters) past 600 aim lower as it has less drop than 556.
MASS and BC matters. 556 effective range 500 meters 762 effective range 1000 yards (energy on target). 400 FOOT POUNDS OF ENERGY is the minimum standard to determine effective range. Bullet type, also efects energy delivery.FMJ,HP frangible
Works Great!
Excellent clarity and the turrets track very well. Very little warping on the edges when using 1x. The illumination works great, gets bright, not red dot bright, but enough to contrast with a darker background or target during a sunny day. The only thing I needed was a mount and through lever. I really dig the Aurora reticle vs the standard ACSS my 2.5x has. The only thing I wish was that the reticle would illuminate both red or green, but that's me being nit picky.
WOW!
I just received my new ACSS Aurora and have started to familiarize myself will all its capabilities. Holy Cow, is this nice...Easily daylight bright. Nice glass. I was slightly hesitant about no horseshoe, but my choice was, for me, absolutely perfect. Same with the choice of SFP vs FFP for my eyes. My only nit to pick so to speak is it should made perfectly clear that the scope comes with both front and rear flip ups. No need to add in any flips when ordering. Other than that, Home Run!
