So this was the first AR 15 scope I bought for my rifle after hearing lots of good things. Firstly it has been everything I was looking for in an LVPO and more. Clear glass, good reticle design, and not too heavy. Also haven't had any issue having had it mounted to a rifle in 308. The only things that could be better were that the illuminated reticle seems to wash out and not be visible during bright day shooting, and there's no throw lever (although I do realize there are PA levers sold separately). Overall I am happy and would buy it again for other rifles.

Couldn't be happier with this Raptor LPVO

I'm really liking this LPVO scope. The FFP and ACSS reticle with BDC out to 600 yards, 5 mph, 10 mph wind holds, 8.6 mph lead holds, and range estimation stradas are great additions. The windage & elevation adjustments track perfectly with solid tactile and auditable 'clicks'. The glass is surprisingly clear for a $400.00 scope. On the brightest setting (11) it isn't all that bright, but I could still easily see it even on a bright snow-covered Michigan winter afternoon. Mounted it on my DDM4 Carbine with an American Defense Recon QD mount. Using Federal XM193 FML 5.56 ammo. Right out of the box it was on paper, (maybe 5" low right) at 100 yards without even bore sighting it. It only took 5 shots to get it zeroed. Shot #5 was dead nuts in the center of the 2" orange sticker target. I don't think I would do any better if I were using a $1000.00 + scope.

Best AR15 Scope In its Class

The glass is crystal clear, and the eye box is very generous. I got another brand a few months back & returned it because I wouldn't say I liked the eye relief and eyebox on it. I wanted to give LPVOs another try. The only 2 negative things I can honestly say is that some of the illumination levels could be much brighter. I don’t really notice the illumination below 4 or 5 (but 11 is bright enough for the daylight). Fortunately, the etched reticle works perfectly in daylight so it isn’t a huge deal. The only other negative thing is I wish they just added the throw lever in with it. I wasn’t paying attention when I ordered it and the nub on the magnification ring works, but the throw lever makes it much better (I’ve since ordered the throw lever) So really, it is a great AR 15 scope, primary arms deliver a high quality optic and make it virtually impossible for any shooter not to be able to get their hands on a decent piece of glass without going broke.

    PA SLX 1-6x Scope

After installing, I did a quick bore sight to get me on paper and did my fine tuning in the range at 100 yards. This AR-15 scope is fantastic! Good reticle and special glass for the price. I have read from previous reviews that the illumination is somewhat lacking on very bright days. They were right. But it works for me just having it turned off. The black reticle contrasts nicely through a colorful background. Hope this helps someone who’s still on the fence on getting one.

I always had red dots on my AR’s, but had been shopping LPVO’s for awhile. Based on price and reviews I chose this one mounted with the Aero Precision extended mount (the PA one was out of stock) and am super happy thus far. Used a red dot 100 yard zero at 25 target which worked great. Took 2 different shot groups to get it where I wanted then went to 100 yards to confirm. Shot 5 rounds. 4 of the 5 were within 1/2” of the bullseye. I was astonished. I’ll be letting my 6yr old use this setup for deer season 😃

My First AR Scope Ever For My First Rifle Ever

I finally got to take this to the range! Works great! Lighting is great and the range of brightness are great from no to bright light. Caps snap on and off great and feel nice when they click. Expect a solid pound! (Also expect your rifle to look extremely sexy.) Zooming the optic (for my rifle is odd at the least, i have to use an index finger and thumb, pointing my rifle upward, to get the best grip to twist from 1 to 6 and back. This thing feels like it can take a drop. As a matter of fact, Demitri has a video or two of torture testing these products. While at the range i sighted for 25 yards and while I, myself was off target, i put a 3 finger gap though where my rounds had impacted. Needless to say...The chevron tip was awesome! One is able to refocus on the tip so quickly, its a really nice ar optic.

This AR15 Scope cannot be beaten for this price and the features you receive. After shooting red dots, ACOGs, and other optics, I wanted to test the LPVO waters, and I am very impressed. The glass is good; adjustments are solid and clicky, not mushy. Magnification is smooth and fast. The reticle...the ACSS reticle is bananas. I consider myself a master of hold over with a red dot...but never in my life have I sighted an optic in and immediately began making hits on 6” steel at 300+. All credit to the ACSS. This brings me to the best benefit and/or perk of buying this product...if you contact PA, they will assist you with setting up your optic using various loads. The creator of the ACSS reticle, Dmitri, is approaching level 100 wizardry. The illumination is bright, plenty bright even for use in the day. Unless you're aiming at the sun(enjoy being blind) or another immensely bright background. Which actually what brought me here. Don't hesitate!!

No Better Bang For the Buck!!!

As a 3 Gun competitor, I always seek new equipment to get the edge. I've wanted a 1-6x to replace the very venerable 1-4x that I had been running for years. The trick was I wanted one that was first focal. This is the 3rd AR scope that I have gotten from PA and this is the best one yet. I have it in a Midwest Industries mount, which is rock solid and dead on. Finally got a chance to use in a match and what a difference it makes having the reticle that goes down to nearly red dot size for speed on close stages, and the 6x is clear and sharp. I just went out to the range and tested the magnification and zoom staying true and it was ringing steel at 300 yards at 2.5x using the correct hold. So impressed will be getting the .300blk for my blackout very soon (also may pick up another 5.56 one too).

Great AR 15 Scope for the money; glad I waited/saved for the FFP model, and the ACSS is the best retical imho. I was pleasantly surprised by the glass quality. It’s a little unforgiving at 6x, but for me it’s not a problem because I usually slow up when @ total magnification anyways.

    The gamble paid off!

I wasn't sure if trying FFP would work out, but I took a gamble on this despite a lack of many reviews. I finally got it sighted in and shot my first 3-gun match with it today. It was my best outing with an AR ever! I mostly attribute this to the chevron reticle, which is a significant improvement over my Strike Eagle 1-6x, though not exclusive to the FFP model. I think they implemented it better in this model, though. The picture was bright and clear, the lighted reticle was bright in daylight, the variable size reticle from being FFP was neat, and the built-in throw ring was easy to use on the fly. This was a local club match without long distances, but even at 125yds, I could get on target much faster and better than before and hit them as a bonus! I see this will work at my other match with longer distances.
