This rail fits perfectly and does not require bedding, leading to improved accuracy in my shooting. The rail has dramatically improved my grouping compared to the stock rail that came with my firearm. I highly recommend this rail to anyone looking to enhance their accuracy at long distances. It is made of steel, which I consider to be a superior material compared to aluminum.

This scope base is expertly crafted and fits my Savage 308 SA model 16 Weather Warrior perfectly. Please note that for this model, you will need to use the small screws on the front. The base is incredibly solid. My only concern is the lack of direction regarding the recommended torque for the screws, but I plan to search for that information online.

This is a sturdy and reliable base for Savage Short actions, and I appreciate the added benefit of the stop/lug on the front base that helps with recoil control. I have installed several of these bases with Nightforce Rings, and I have only had to make slight adjustments to my windage turrets from the center position.

I have a Savage 12 F/TR .223 with a Nightforce Competition scope. I routinely shoot at 100 and 600 yards. I had an opportunity to shoot 800 and was surprised that my scope ran out of elevation. I bought the 20 MOA nightforce rail, and it mounted perfectly. When I zeroed, it was exactly 20 MOA. I like it when things work.

I bought this savage 110 scope mount to replace the Two-Piece Valdada base. The previous base left my scope with a slight cant about 3-4 degrees off. Once I tightened the rings to the scope, I took the rings off the base and laid them on a flat surface. The rings did not fit flush with the flat surface, therefore, giving me the 3-4 degree cant, throwing my rounds way off past 300 meters. The Nightforce single-piece fixed that problem right away. As for the base itself, I couldn't move the scope back far enough for perfect eye relief because the base was about a half-inch too long. I'm using a 4.5-14x 50mm Leupold Mark 4 LR/T scope with Mark 4 medium rings on top of a Savage mo.10FP. If you're using a 40mm scope with medium rings, this won't be an issue for you. To fix this problem, so the front of my scope wasn't hitting the base, I used a hack saw to take off that half-inch and some good flat black paint to cover the exposed steel. I could have also bought higher rings, but I didn't feel like spending another $150, and the lower the scope is to the weapon, the better it looks to me.

Very nice part. This is my fourth or fifth one, and they have all been of high quality and fit perfectly. If you shoot Savage, this base is the one to get, particularly with a heavy scope like the Nightforce. NOTE: You should bed this rail. If you need help with the procedure, NightForce will be glad to tell you how to do it.

I own 6 Savage Model 12 Target/Bench/Varmint rifles and have used this same Nightforce base to support Nightforce glass on all of them. They are built like tanks and dead nuts, perfect in their fit and alignment. I shoot 1,000 yard 8" steel gong matches which means there is no margin for error in mounting your optics, and with this base, you can be confident your foundation is rock solid.

First off, the Nightforce rail is terrific. Steel, perfect level, four screws included (Torx head). BUT - be careful if you have a Savage 10 Ashbury Precision. This rail extends an inch or so forward of the front screws and is not high enough to clear the Ashbury handguard. I just wanted to warn any Ashbury owners.

This is a very lovely scope mount. Previously I had tried a Weaver 20 MOA base it was crooked. This is mounted on my Savage Model 12 BVSS in .308 and works great so far. It is made out of steel, as evidenced by its weight. It just feels like a quality piece!

This base fits my Savage mo.10FP perfectly. The only downside to this base was that it is too long for my Leupold Mark IV 4.5-14x50mm scope to fit with the medium rings I have. If you have higher rings or a 40mm scope, you'll be just fine. To fix this problem, I used a hack saw and cut off about 1/4 inch then painted it to stop rust build-up.
