Customer Ratings & Reviews
Best deal on a atlas bt46-lw17 for sale on mountsplus.com
This Atlas Bipod is the BEST one available. I own three, two 5-9 inch and one 7-13 inch. The 5-9 inch are perfect. In my opinion, the 7-13 inch does not go low enough to shoot from prone unless you angle the legs to 45 degrees. I much prefer the 5-9 inch, they are perfect, and worth every penny.
Atlas Bipod BT46-LW17 PSR
Like my first Atlas Bipod, this one is rock solid too.
Great bipod, great service...
Not my first, or likely the last, Atlas bipod. Pricey, but by far one of the best. As usual the service from Mounts Plus was outstanding.
Great Bipod
The Atlas bt46-lw17 Bipod adjustments are straightforward and efficient compared to competitors. I have two Bipods from a competitor that are very sturdy but heavier and not as easy to use. Anyone would need to perform side by side comparison, but this Atlas is my first choice for my new RPR.
BT46-lw17 PSR Atlas Bipod: standard height with ADM 170-s lever
This is the best bipod I have ever used. It is expensive, but it can easily and quickly be switched from rifle to rifle.
bt46-lw17 PSR Atlas Bipod
I couldn't believe all of the positive reviews about this Atlas PSR Bipod, so I had to find out for myself. This is by far the most sturdy and versatile bipod available, and I have tried every kind of bipod out there. I would recommend it! I couldn't be happier with this product- if you're on the fence, buy it! God Bless America
My Atlas bipod review
High-quality bipod from Atlas. This is my first Atlas bipod, and I have usually used Harris bipod in the past. I am a fan of the swivel feature and the locking pin adjustment for the legs. The swivel allows you to get some movement to pan the rifle, which is nice because you can scan without losing the footing of the legs or getting caught in the grass. The only negative side I can think of is the price, which is high but expected for a quality piece such as this.
There's not a better bipod made
I've owned almost every version of Harris, Parker Hale, and Atlas bipod available. The Atlas PSR addresses any issue that the previous versions may have had (which were minimal). 1. The leg bosses are tapered and now have a tight fit with no leg play in any position. 2. Early versions did not have the thumb ring on the legs for single hand adjustments. The V8 and PSR do. A nice feature. 3. The legs no longer rotate on their internal shaft, providing a more solid stance. 4. Unlike the Harris, there is no thumb wheel that vibrates loose, nor does it require a Picatinny Rail adapter to mount. 5. Unlike the Harris, it has an easy to adjust thumb wheel for tension on the pan/cant. The Harris also has a thumbwheel, but it is so small it can be hard to get tight enough. It usually requires the replacement of the Harris thumbwheel with a KMW Pod lock to get enough leverage for a secure grip. Buyers should be aware that it will not mount to sling studs like a Harris bipod. However, their rail kits made by Atlas to mount to most conventional stocks. I really like my Harris BRM-S w/KMW Podlock, but the Atlas has it beat on all accounts. If you can muster spending $300+ on a bipod, this is simply the best pibod made. High marks for Casey and the crew at Atlas. It is a well thought out, precisely engineered, and superbly constructed piece of kit for any precision weapon. 5/5 stars, without a doubt.
Atlas Bipod review
Great product at a great price. The Atlas bipod has numerous great features that allow for versatile deployment. This is a high-quality piece of equipment that is definitely worth the cost if you plan on mounting it on a higher end rifle. Atlas has a YouTube video that shows in detail how to use their bipod.
Surpasses expectations
I used the most common bipod like those from harris engineering on rifles for several years; they are good products. Setting up a long-range target rifle I chose to double the standard bipod cost and get the Atlas. The Price in the only negative, every other aspect is a PRO. This is a precision-built high-quality bipod. I would not hesitate to buy another. I did get the BT46-LW17 with QD so I can switch on AR platform rifles and change sling studs to Picatinny rail section on bolt rifles to change on rifles.
Fantastic bipod
Couldn't believe all of the positive reviews about this bipod, so I had to find out for myself. The Atlas Bipod BT46-LW17 by far the most firm and versatile bipod available, and I have examined every kind of bipod out there. I would definitely recommend it! I couldn't be more pleased with this product- if you're on the fence, buy it! God Bless America
Atlas Bipod
If you appreciate precision products this is the one you want. This time I went for a premium bipod to mount on my Desert Tech SRS and I'm glad I did. It looks nice and clean and operates flawlessly.
