this item does not fit a genuine MP5SD OEM suppressor. when tightened all the way down, it would still spin freely around the suppressor. spend your money on the B&T version instead. I have returned this product for a refund.

I purchased this rail adapter to be able to mount a Streamlight TLR-2s on my HK MP5 22LR clone. Since the suppressor on the clone isn't actually functional I wasn't worried about damaging it. The rail mount fits perfectly and is very secure. I was able to mount a laser/flashlight without having to add a top rail or obstruct the factory iron sights.
